Hi,
Following the Berlin Piwik Meetup I’ve just published pictures and notes I took, along with several important action items, on the blog at Piwik.org .
A few bug reports were opened and I’d like to invite anyone interested in participating in improvements to the Piwik community to add their comments and constructive suggestions - and open new bug reports if/when needed.
The blog post is here:

Here are a few of the bug reports I refer to:

RFC
How can communication be improved between:
i) Piwik users community
ii) Piwik … contributors
iii) Piwik PRO contributors
In private discussions and during the Piwik meetup in Berlin, this topic was raised several times by key contributors. One challenge is that Slack is being used by Piwik contributors, and another Slack account is used by Piwik PRO contributors.
Maybe there is for us a possibility to:
- merge both Slack into one,
- have some chatrooms made completely public (eg `#dev-core`),
- open a new support channel that will be completely open (eg. as Wordpress has done [WP Slack](https://make.wordpress.org/chat/), [WP Comm discussions](https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/about/communication/)
- document Slack<>IRC relay (as IRC is a communication standard)

RFC
The goal of this issue is to discuss the proposed changes to a new Piwik.org tea… m page. This is a follow up to Piwik Meetup discussions in Berlin 2015.
The team page can be seen at: http://piwik.org/team/
Here are are suggestions that were made to improve this page:
- can we get pictures for all Piwik contributors,
- can we list all contributors in alphabetical orders,
- tag Piwik PRO staff as "Piwik PRO staff" so it is clear who is Piwik PRO contributor VS Piwik contributor,
- or maybe we remove Piwik PRO contributors who do not directly contribute to Piwik (although they do contribute indirectly by generating revenue which is directly re-invested in Piwik),
- and instead credit "Piwik PRO" as a Piwik contributor and link to a (to be created) team page on Piwik PRO website,
- can we display email + linkedin + github links for Piwik contributors, (as it was before)
- can we remove Matthieu and Maciej photos at the top, as this is more relevant for Piwik PRO team page and not Piwik.org team page,
- ...
This RFC will be opened for a a few weeks until the new team page will be ready. We will post here the updated team page to ask for feedback.
Your feedback is welcome, especially if you are a contributor to Piwik, please let us know how we can make the team page really great!

Task
c: Website matomo.org
duplicate
The goal of this issue is to create a document that will explain clearly what is… our mission with the Piwik platform, and how the community and the [Piwik team](http://piwik.org/team) are working together to make this vision a reality.
Notes:
- The new page on the website should be linked from the left menu eg. below the Roadmap link.
- Our mission statement is: `To create, as a community, the leading international open source web analytics platform, that gives every user full control of their data.`
- Currently we have a public document detailing our [Roadmap](http://piwik.org/roadmap/). This page is useful, but it also lists some items which are not actually related to the roadmap. For example we lists "our values" and our "mission statement". By creating a new page that focuses on our vision, values, culture and mission, we will help our project grow in the right direction, that we are all on the same page, and that everyone understands the great and important mission that is ours at Piwik.
- About 6 months ago we were challenged by several community members who mentioned various issues they had with Piwik in particular with the number of bugs that were found in each release. As a result we adapted our work and I wrote a [blog post](http://piwik.org/blog/2014/10/announcement-piwik-focus-reliability-performance-security/) that explained this change of culture. This was very useful, but we now need more: hence this issue.
Please comment if you have some suggestions or ideas!
Cheers,
Fabian
