I just installed piwik and everything seems to be running fine however, no data is being reported in my installation.
If you’re on HostGator, you’ll have to open a ticket with tech support to have your domain whitelisted against the mod_security rules.
I was not on hostgator however, I believe it was an issue either with the timezone or installation of piwik.
