I would like to override certain wordings in Piwik’s UI. Of course, I could adjust the strings in question in the respective xx.json file but after every update everything is lost.
Joomla’s solution for this problem is: One has to create
/language/overrides/xx-XX.override.ini
where xx-XX stands for e.g. en-US
Strings defined therein are overriding the string variables in the respective xx-XX.ini files of any Joomla component. And of course override files are not touched during updates.
I would love to have a similar feature in Piwik.
