I have a simple website running on a shared hosting and my website didn’t like the latest release. It got a timeout while downloading the zip and trying to extract it. As such, the update is corrupt and now I’m updating it manually. At work I also run Piwik (but on a vm, with a lot more resources available) and there the update went smooth. So wouldn’t it be a great idea to implement delta updates in the Piwik updater? (where you let the updater only download and modify the files that were changed).
