Hello fellow Piwik users! I have published the “LoginEncrypted” plugin, which can be found at https://plugins.piwik.org/LoginEncrypted. It encrypts users’ passwords when transmitted from browser to the Piwik server on login or password change, which is useful if HTTPS cannot be implemented.

Important note: If installing the plugin using a ZIP file or manually via the FTP file upload, please download the plugin from the above Piwik Plugins Marketplace link, NOT from its Github releases. The reason is that the Marketplace automatically converts the releases into a form usable with Piwik (e.g. correct naming of the plugin folder, removal of possibly negatively impacting files, such as .gitignore, etc.).
