hi every body
i’m android/web developer and using piwik for track my app usage (piwik is amazing!)
you know device detection is not very accurate !
i have full access to device info on android app
but problem is how can i use this data on piwik !?
my app send info&stats to app-server and app-server sends it to piwik using php-client.
what could be helpful:
1- a plugin or some codes that can change device-detector to use uncommon format for UA !
ex: use jsonned data of device info instead UA !
2- some code that can create new or improve current UA of device
ex: a function that input device model & brand & android version and return standard UA string that device-detector parse it correctly.
3- any other suggestion !?
