I’m wondering how it’s possible that, on my website, I have visits originating from Telegram. Could it be bots, or something else?

Those are most likely visits from the Telegram web client, not the app (which doesn’t send a referrer and thus visits from the app are tracked as direct).

I’m not saying it cannot, just asking how it is possible. I don’t know how Telegram works, so I was wondering where one would be able to find a link to my website on Telegram?
If somebody posts a massage containing a link to your site, then you’ll get some visits from this source
