My Wish is that Piwik include Mouse Tracking, a Open Source Mousetracking Software is available here: Simple Mouse Tracking
Ich würde Mouse Tracking sehr begrüssen, eine Open Source Mousetracking Software gibt es hier: Simple Mouse Tracking.
Ok. My gut feeling at this time is to leave this to a third-party plugin. After Piwik 1.0 is out, we can re-evaluate proposals and submissions for inclusion.
This looks interesting - it would be a very good idea to write a specification before doing too much coding, as we can help defining the feature set and the scope of the plugin. My main concern, like vipsoft, would be around data size and, but this is probably not easily doable, aggregating this data to have a global view on how mouse interactions happen on a given page. Let us know what your thoughts are
id like to give something to the community, i am not a developer, but at least i wanted to share this little webbased application, which perhaps could be integrated into piwik.

It will be an amazing feature… IMHO the amount of data will be not so huge… As smt log in particular the coordinates x,y of the mouse movements, all this infos are simple text data.
In any case… @Anybody
Are you still working on the third-party plug-in? I’m very interested on it, and it will be nice to work together…
Also if other are interested on it… please let us know…

We've just released Heatmap + Session Recording for Piwik Analytics!
More info:
Heatmaps show you where on a page your visitors click, move the mouse and how far down they scroll so you can discover which content your visitors actually pay attention to, where your content is confusing, and whether your content is engaging. Based on this information you can improve your content and page structure and ultimately increase your conversions.
Session Recordings lets you record all clicks, mouse movements, scrolls and form interactions of a visitor so you can replay them in a video. See exactly what your visitors did on your website to truly understand them. Find out where they have problems or get confused to improve usability and conversions.
Comes with 100% data ownership, full control over your data, and no limitations.
